VFX Q&A
Q:  What does "VFX" stand for?

A:  "Velocity Effects"

Q:  How do you know it works?

A: We asked a third-party research institution (Ball State University, Muncie,IN) to test
the VFX system against their Vicon system.  There were no statistically significant
differences between the timing data collected by both systems!

Q:  What are the dimensions of the transmitting and receiving units?

A:  5.25"l *1.75"w*3.25"h

Q:  What are the dimensions of the mirrors?

A: 4" across

Q:  What accessories come with the VFX system?

A:  Chargers and mounting brackets for mirrors and infrared units.  See below.

Q:  What space do I need to install the system?

A:  Any wheelchair- accessible hallway.

Q:  What is your recommended testing "runway" length?

A:  A distance of 10 meters or less between mirrors.  Additional length is desirable in
front of and past  the testing area to allow patients to accelerate and decelerate
respectively.

Q:  How many times will be visible on the display?

A:  Two

Q:  How often do the transmitter and receiver units need to be recharged?

A:  Every 24-48 hours.  Charging time is approximately 12 hours.

Q:  What kind of warranty will I get with the VFX system?

A:  A consumer electronics standard
: The warranty period  runs for 13 months, covering
100% of the cost of parts or labor.

Q:  How long does it take to set up?

A:  Approximately 1-2 hours for permanent set-up.

Q:  What else can you tell me about the VFX system?

A:  Perhaps the most innovative idea surrounding the VFX concept is the establishment
of an on-line forum for its users to share information.  Every clinic that purchases a VFX
system is given exclusive access to the forum by e-mail.

Q:  Why did it take a small, practitioner-driven company to make outcome collection
affordable?

A:  Great question!
